Christmas Tree Skirt Sew Along
This class is a virtual class and will be taught in small segments. It is mostly the hooping and how to handle in-the-hoop projects that will be the lessons along the way here. It is designed so that you do not have to feel overwhelmed to finish it in one weekend. It can be stretched out over time once the main lessons are done. The idea of doing such a beautiful piece at such a minimum cost is hard to resist. A finishing class will be taught later in the year so as not to rush everyone.
Approximate finished sizes:
5x7 - 34.6" Diameter
6x10 - 47.7" Diameter
150 x 240 hoop (which is slightly smaller than the universal 6x10) - 41.5" Diameter
8x12 - 51.7" Diameter
Background Fabric:
5x7 size: 1 yard for Inner blocks, 1 yard for Middle blocks, 1 Yard for Outer blocks
6x10 sizes: 1.5 yards for Inner blocks, 1.5 yards for Middle blocks, 1.25 yards for Outer blocks
8x12 size: 2.25 yards for Inner blocks, 2 yards for Middle blocks, 1.5 yards for Outer blocks
There is applique in the piece as well.
Backing Fabric (5x7 size: 39x39", 6x10 sizes: 48x48”, 8x12 size: 56x56”)
