Block Party 2026
Come join us for our 2nd Annual Block Party, a quilter‘s challenge using a fabric of your choice to create 12 mystery blocks, all wrapped up for your surprise gift.
How it works:
- Each Block Party group has 12 members.
- Participants will purchase 1-1/2 yds of focus fabric of your choosing. Please choose 100% cotton woven fabric. (..receive a 20% discount on this purchase.)
- We will cut your fabric choice into fat 1/8’s (9“ by 22“).
- Members of the block party group will receive a fat 1/8 from every other member of your group.
- You will create a 12-1/2” unfinished block for each different fabric sample you receive from your group, incorporating that fabric into the design.
- You may choose any block pattern/design, and use any coordinating fabrics you wish for each square. A combination of piecework, appliqué, or other specialty stitches/techniques may be included. Please use 100% cotton woven fabric.
- Finished squares need to be 12-1/2“.
- Once your 12 squares are completed, drop or mail them back to the Fabric Patch Return deadline is October 31st, 2026.
- The 12 squares using your fabric choice (yes, the one you made for yourself also!) will be gift wrapped and opened as your surprise package at our year-end Block Party.
