Whispers of Autumn

In her new quilt pattern, Kim Diehl takes the nine-patch concept to create two blocks with a rich play of fall colors. Simple Sawtooth Stars frame scrappy nine-patch centers using multiple prints and backgrounds. However, it is the Goose on the Loose block that takes the unequal nine-patch concept to new heights. Using hourglass units and corners on squares, Kim creates a churn dash in the block center.
